About This Position
Full job description
Assumes all responsibilities for total care of residents for periods up to 24 hours or less.
Have personal contact with residents.
Assure proper administration of all medication and proper documentation.
Notify the administrator or S.I.C. if any resident needs medical attention or any changes in the resident’s status
Assure help with all necessary personal care of residents.
Cooking and serving meals. Cleaning kitchen and dining area, including dishes.
For any general cleaning of entire facility.
Report any accident or incident to Administrator/S.I.C.
Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety or each resident.
Work cooperatively with Administrators/S.I.C. and relate favorably to residents and families.
Be familiar with confidentiality of residents and resident’s address.
Be familiar with and able to apply all the home’s accident, fire safety, or emergency procedures.
Be familiar with Lucille’s Behavioral Inc. Bill of Rights and assist residents in exercising the rights.
Assure careful treatment of the group home equipment and utilization of supplies.
Responsible for reading and adhering to all group home policies.
Perform other related duties assigned by S.I.C. or Administrator.
Obtain a GED or High School Diploma.

Must be 18 years old, able to read, write, follow directions, and comprehend.
Must be able to complete/pass core competencies.
Must have valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
Must have an approved criminal record.
Must not be listed on the Health Care Registry.
Must not be listed on the Office of Inspector General’s Health Care Exclusion’s Registry.
Attend at least one residential staff meeting monthly for supervision.
Provides transportation for all residents into the community on a weekly basis and/or as needed to engage in leisure activities outside of residential setting.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Must complete all required new hire agency orientations and trainings prior to employment and maintain the appropriate certifications. Valid driver's license required. Employee must demonstrate the organizational and State required core competencies to deliver Residential Services
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

12 hour shift
