Job Description

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Placement of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC’s), use of ultrasound to guide placement of vascular access in addition to standard practice of peripheral intravenous insertion following guidelines for best practice techniques.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent

    • Minimum Experience
      • Minimum of one year RN experience in clinical setting

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
      • BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
      • Registered Nursing License

    • Preferred Education
      • BSN

    • Preferred Experience
      • Vascular Access and or PICC experience

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • VA-BC

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
