About This Position
Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and leading successful sales and business development for national accounts and within a geographic region. Provides focused leadership on improving sales productivity through managing human capital, resources, processes, systems and strategies. Partners with Operations to meet Company’s strategic business goals.
Basic Functions and Scope of Responsibilities:
•Teams with Operations to align business strategy, meet customer expectations, and grow market share.•Responsible for providing overall direction and leadership to a geographic regional territory tied to forecast and budget.

•Responsible for growing sales, increasing revenue and operating profit within designated region and assist other regionswith similar goals.
•Teams with Marketing department to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies throughout the organization.
•Sells the full spectrum of products and leads others in the organization to do the same, which includes prospecting,networking, qualifying, and providing service delivery.
•Collaborates with other Company leaders by integrating and engaging other Company business units or divisions whenappropriate.•Establishes management and branch/area sales quotas and goals.
•Manages financial performance of the region with the assistance of the Operations leader.
•Responsible for the review, approval, and submittal of regional budget to executive leadership team.
•Increases market share by implementing sales and marketing plans, cultivating current customers and diversifying clientbase.
•Develops and implements successful sales and service delivery through knowledge of the market including customer trends,competitor capabilities, and emerging information technologies.
•Attracts, hires, and develops staff in support of company objectives.
•Develops results-oriented staff by coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, resolving and appraising jobperformance. Holds staff accountable by monitoring and measuring job performance.•Identifies and resolves all personnel matters within organizational scope, ensuring that all company policies and proceduresare properly implemented and consistently administered.
•Creates a successful business environment by helping to eliminate barriers that prevent achievement of business unit goals.
•Communicates the Company’s mission, vision and values, and ensures compliance with all Company policies.
•Drives the continuous improvement process by championing and monitoring quality initiatives.
•Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Education Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree
Training, Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and/or Experience:
•3+ years of sales experience in the staffing and/or HCM industry, in addition to exposure to multiple business functions,including recruiting, operations, quality programs, and payroll administration.

•5 to 7 years of experience leading business development plans and supervising marketing strategies.
•Proven capability of leading the sales of multiple business solutions.•Successful track record of managing revenue, profit, customer diversification, low turnover, and high employee andcustomer satisfaction.
•Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal team building and negotiation skills.
•Demonstrated ability to grow and enhance financial performance.
•Demonstrated ability to grow and enhance financial performance.
•Demonstrated budget preparation and implementation skills and a working knowledge of financial systems.•Demonstrated ability to support proposal development and deliver major business presentations.•Demonstrated principled leadership and sound business ethics.

•Ability to travel within the defined Region (subject to change based on business needs).

Working Conditions: Must be located in a city within the defined Region (Minneapolis, MN).

Physical surroundings: Office equipment within immediate working space, filing cabinets.
Adverse working environment: Constant interruptions via phone, visitors, internal employees, e-mail, etc.
Physical Effort: Bending, stooping, some lifting not to exceed 15lbs, sitting, and walking.
Domestic/International Travel: Domestic, no international travel.
Working Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM; flexibility is REQUIRED and it may include: Weekends, Nights, Holidays, extended shifts in order to accomplish goals and needs.
Must be available via phone to employees and/or client at all times to better serve the needs of the business.
