Surgical Technician (Operating Room) - Our Lady of Fatima Hospital at CharterCARE Health Partners – North Providence, Rhode Island

Summary: Under the direction from the professional Registered Nurse assists in providing optimal patient care in the Operating Room by organizing and preparing the sterile field, handling instruments, and may assist the surgeon under their direct supervision. Establishes positive relationships through communication development of self and fulfilling responsibilities as an employee at St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island.

Education: Graduate of Surgical Technology School or equivalent.

Licensure: CST preferred

Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs.
