Senior Full Stack Developer
Washington, DC (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise to join our team in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 1 to 2 days per week and is focused on API development that directly interfaces with complex SQL environments. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in .NET 6+, Angular (v15+), SQL, and TypeScript, and has experience working with microservices, Entity Framework, IAS, and Visual Studio.
In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust APIs and web services that interact with large, structured SQL databases. Rather than focusing on front-end applications, this role emphasizes backend data access, processing, and API connectivity. You will collaborate closely with data and integration teams to ensure seamless, secure, and high-performance data transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop APIs and web services using .NET 6+ and modern frameworks
• Write efficient SQL code, including complex joins, common table expressions, views, indexes, and stored procedures
• Work with Entity Framework for data mapping and management
• Ensure secure integration with databases and backend services using IAS
• Build and support microservices for scalable and modular data access
• Optimize database interactions and API performance
• Use Visual Studio and other development tools for code development and debugging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data access strategy, integration, and API design
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for backend development

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in backend or full stack development
• Proficiency in .NET 6 or newer and Angular 15 or higher
• Strong expertise in SQL, including performance tuning and advanced query design
• Experience with TypeScript, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and secure authentication methods (IAS)
• Proficient in Visual Studio and modern development environments
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
