Registered Nurse - Primary Care
Responsibilities:
• The RN will complete patient/family assessment using subjective and objective data sources.
• Develop a NCP based on patient assessment. Particular attention is given to developmental stages of the patient/family.
• Deliver patient care based Nursing Care Plan.
• Evaluate patient care.
• Effectively communicate the patient's plan of care to all members of the health care team.
• Provide patient education focusing on wellness health maintenance and restoration.
• Assume responsibility for education and self-development.
• Adheres to the policies and procedures as outlined in the Exposure Control Manual regarding universal precautions, bloodbome pathogen, disposal of needles, syringes and sharps, cleanup procedures for blood and bold fluid spills, storage, handling and disposal of medical waste.
• Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is utilized when performing a task or responsibility associated with this position which
Basic Function:The Registered Professional Nurse cares for patients by diagnosing and treating actual or potential health problems in the ambulatory setting without discrimination to age or gender through implementation of the nursing process. Coordinates care of other disciplines, delegates tasks to other nursing staff members, supervises care and evaluates results. Maintains competence in clinical practice and assists in the development of nursing practice standards through participation in professional committees and organizations.

- The Registered Nurse requires a license to practice in New York State.
- Registered Nurse is expected to complete a variable orientation, duration of 4-6 weeks.
- Ambulatory experience preferred.

Salary Range: $29.44-$44.16 /hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
