Job Title: Groundskeeping / Lawncare Worker

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeping/Lawncare Worker to join our outdoor maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and health of lawns, landscaped areas, and outdoor spaces. Key duties include mowing, limb and debris pickup, edging, trimming, and general grounds upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate lawnmowers (push and/or ride-on), trimmers, edgers, and blowers to maintain turf areas.
• Collect and dispose of limbs, sticks, and yard debris from lawns, sidewalks, and pathways.
• Perform seasonal lawncare tasks including fertilizing, aeration, overseeding, and weed control.
• Edge sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds to maintain neat borders.
• Trim shrubs, bushes, and hedges; remove dead or dying branches.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces including picking up trash or fallen debris.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance (e.g., checking oil, sharpening blades).
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist with planting, mulching, or light landscaping projects as needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or lawncare preferred.
• Ability to safely operate lawn maintenance equipment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable transportation to job sites (if required).
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, or extended hours during peak seasons.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of turf and plant care best practices.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems or seasonal plantings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor environment; exposed to heat, humidity, cold, and rain.
• Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
