Job Overview:

Qualifications:

Required:

HS diploma or GED

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS Certification from AHA

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem Schedule (Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations -Flemington, Bridgewater, Princeton)

Essential Functions:

• General housekeeping and infection prevention
• Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment
• Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment
• Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages
• Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment
