The Position: We’re looking for a Route Driver. This is a full-time position that works Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.

• 40 hours of PTO after 90 days, 80 hours after 1 year of employment with additional increases after 3 and 7 years

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CDL A or B with willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement
• Desire to learn

Responsibilities: Our city drivers or route truck drivers safely deliver hard goods and cylinders to businesses, and medical gas customers on a scheduled route or intermittently. They will serve customers by meeting customer needs, resolving customer problems and providing excellent customer service.

Essential Functions:

• Safely load, unload, and deliver hard-good orders and cylinders containing compressed gases to customers; return empty cylinders for refilling, ensuring all load and unload cylinder locates are completed
• Maintain load manifest, trip records, vehicle inspection reports, and all other vehicle documents
• Assist branch when necessary
• Performs routine maintenance on truck and keeps truck clean in accordance with company policy and lessor requirements

Starting Pay: $26-$27 an hour, starting wage based on CDL Class type
