This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional to drive operational excellence across a large, multi-site healthcare network. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to operational leaders, helping improve financial performance, optimize revenue cycle outcomes, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration. You will lead key performance review processes, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and influence executive-level decision-making through data-driven insights. - Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with operational leadership teams, physician partners, and key stakeholders to drive alignment on revenue cycle performance goals.
- Lead executive-level discussions and operational reviews focused on revenue cycle metrics, claims management, denial reduction, and overall financial performance improvement.
- Oversee the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operating review process, ensuring accurate KPI reporting, actionable insights, and clear visibility into performance trends.
- Analyze operational data, financial reports, and revenue cycle performance metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and enhanced financial outcomes.
- Partner closely with centralized business office teams and cross-functional departments to resolve operational challenges and improve revenue capture and reimbursement performance.
- Develop presentations, executive reports, and financial summaries that effectively communicate operational performance and revenue cycle impact to leadership teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports through coaching, performance management, professional development initiatives, and accountability frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards across assigned teams and healthcare centers.
- Serve as an escalation point for revenue cycle concerns, providing guidance, issue resolution, and support to maintain high levels of service and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, special projects, and organizational priorities while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the revenue cycle function.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 5–10 years of healthcare industry experience, including significant exposure to revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or related functions.
- Previous leadership experience within a multi-site healthcare system, ambulatory care environment, or complex healthcare organization is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, financial performance indicators, claims management, denial resolution, and reimbursement operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including data analysis and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI, to analyze and interpret operational data.
- Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and analytical tools to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive organizational change through collaboration and strategic thinking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 35% as needed to healthcare centers and corporate locations.
