The position offers a dynamic and collaborative remote work environment, significant leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to shape long-term revenue cycle strategies that directly support organizational growth and patient care excellence.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead executive-level discussions and operational reviews focused on revenue cycle metrics, claims management, denial reduction, and overall financial performance improvement.
  • Oversee the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operating review process, ensuring accurate KPI reporting, actionable insights, and clear visibility into performance trends.
  • Analyze operational data, financial reports, and revenue cycle performance metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and enhanced financial outcomes.
  • Partner closely with centralized business office teams and cross-functional departments to resolve operational challenges and improve revenue capture and reimbursement performance.
  • Develop presentations, executive reports, and financial summaries that effectively communicate operational performance and revenue cycle impact to leadership teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports through coaching, performance management, professional development initiatives, and accountability frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards across assigned teams and healthcare centers.
  • Serve as an escalation point for revenue cycle concerns, providing guidance, issue resolution, and support to maintain high levels of service and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, special projects, and organizational priorities while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the revenue cycle function.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 5–10 years of healthcare industry experience, including significant exposure to revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, or related functions.
  • Previous leadership experience within a multi-site healthcare system, ambulatory care environment, or complex healthcare organization is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, financial performance indicators, claims management, denial resolution, and reimbursement operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including data analysis and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI, to analyze and interpret operational data.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and analytical tools to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive organizational change through collaboration and strategic thinking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% as needed to healthcare centers and corporate locations.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life insurance and disability insurance benefits.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare FSA, Limited Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Transportation and Parking FSAs).
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions.
  • Generous Paid Time Off program, with the opportunity to earn between 20 and 25 days annually based on position and tenure.
  • Nine paid company-observed holidays.
  • Paid family leave benefits.
  • Professional development, training, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Supportive, collaborative culture focused on excellence, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
