Security Officer (Flexible / Part-Time) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Advanced Sentry LLC

Advanced Sentry LLC is seeking professional, dependable, and mobile individuals for flexible unarmed security assignments in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

This role is best suited for individuals who already work from their vehicle, spend significant time mobile throughout the area, or are comfortable remaining available from their vehicle to respond to nearby assignment opportunities.

This is a flexible, part-time, on-call workforce development opportunity. It is not a full-time position at this time. Hours are not guaranteed, work may be limited in the beginning, and future opportunities may become available later based on business needs, client demand, performance, availability, and qualifications.

• Perform unarmed mobile security assignments at client locations
• Maintain a visible, professional, and courteous security presence
• Observe, document, and report incidents, safety concerns, suspicious activity, or unusual conditions
• Respond to assignment opportunities when available and nearby
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and team members
• Follow post orders, client instructions, and company policies
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and assignment documentation as required
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients, staff, residents, or the public

• Flexible, part-time, on-call role
• No guaranteed hours or fixed schedule
• Work may be limited in the beginning
• Assignments are offered as client needs arise
• The application may notify closer or more available mobile responders first
• Future opportunities may become available based on business needs, performance, availability, and client demand
• This is an unarmed security role

• Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
• Paid for approved compensable time worked on active assignments
• Minimum pay per assignment may apply depending on assignment details
• Overtime, if applicable, will be paid in accordance with applicable law

This is not a full-time position at this time. This is a flexible, part-time, on-call opportunity intended as a workforce development starting point. Hours are not guaranteed, and assignments may be limited in the beginning.

Candidates who are already mobile throughout the Pittsburgh area may have more opportunity to receive nearby assignment notifications. Static or non-mobile candidates may have fewer opportunities because assignments may come from different areas throughout the city.

Employees may not perform other paid driving, delivery, courier, or mobile work at the same time they are actively performing an Advanced Sentry assignment.
