What You Will DoLead global month-end close and consolidation process to ensure the accurate, timely reporting of monthly and quarterly financials and resultsPartner with Revenue Operations team to oversee software revenue and associated costs for forecasting, quoting and billings.Prepare and send out monthly invoices to clients via email or upload into client portalOwn cash application for invoices paid by US and Canada clientsPerform routine weekly collection outreach efforts to clients Ensure all client legal documents have been executed prior to invoicing and paying out commissionsProcess AP invoices and necessary payments in various systems[JK1] for Canada and AustraliaReview US, Canada and Australia payroll to ensure all payrolls are accurate and processed on time. Support bonus and commission calculations and preparation of quarterly statements for distributionEnsure timely and accurate monthly intercompany entries for international subsidiaries using various foreign exchange ratesPrepare and post journal entries as neededEnsure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled properly and timely on a monthly basisProcess monthly sales tax return filings and maintain relationship with sales tax firmLead accounting and tax related audits and all associated compliance reporting to hit deadlines in a cost-effective mannerImplement and improve accounting systems, internal controls and reportingSupport various audits as neededWhat You Will BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA5+ years of progressive US GAAP accounting experience at global technology companiesProficient Excel skills a mustExperience leading global accounting teams through high-growth in fast-paced environments a mustHigh degree of organization, individual initiative, intellectual curiosity, personal accountability and a commitment to driving results.A proactive can-do attitude; a self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinkingAbility to effectively communicate, telling stories with data, instilling confidence, educating and motivating stakeholders to act on recommendationsAbility to adhere and drive to monthly, quarterly and annual department driven deadlines.Implementation of accounting related systems and experience with PowerBI a plusExperience with M&A or with venture capital-backed/private equity-backed companies is a bonusWhy Ashling PartnersAt Ashling Partners, we strive to provide meaningful work in a positive, appreciative and fun culture for our own team.
