You will play a key role in ensuring technical quality, safety, and compliance across highly specialized infrastructure projects. The environment is collaborative and technically driven, offering exposure to large-scale, impactful civil works. This role also provides opportunities for professional leadership, including mentoring junior engineers and contributing to industry standards and best practices.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the structural design of complex waterway and hydraulic infrastructure, including dams, locks, gates, pump stations, and waterfront structures.
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings, construction documents, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Review and ensure quality and accuracy of design deliverables produced by junior engineers and CAD designers.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Perform advanced structural analysis using engineering software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent tools.
  • Support construction-phase services, including design clarification and field engineering input.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, procedures, and best practices through professional committees or industry involvement.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record and potentially stamp and sign engineering documents as required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably on complex infrastructure or water-related projects.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro.
  • Familiarity with US Army Corps of Engineers design standards and dam safety guidelines is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage technical design work and review complex engineering deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and engineering design processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to occasionally travel for site visits and project meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-complexity engineering environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $96,000 to $122,300, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid time off, including parental and military leave, plus additional leave benefits.
  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Paid professional development, education reimbursement, and licensing support.
  • Access to internal learning platforms and mentorship programs.
  • Wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs.
  • Inclusive culture with employee resource groups and community involvement opportunities.
  • Hybrid/remote flexibility depending on project needs and team structure.
