Job Description
Klute is growing and looking for a Manufacturing Production Coordinator to help drive quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery in our steel fabrication operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing technical drawings, solving problems, and working closely with production teams to keep projects moving.
As a key connection between planning and production, you’ll help ensure projects are accurate before they reach the shop floor and support successful execution through completion.
What You’ll Do
- Review blueprints, cut lists, and bills of materials (BOMs) for accuracy
- Serve as the final checkpoint before jobs enter production
- Interpret weld symbols and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and constructability concerns
- Work directly with welders and fabricators to resolve issues in real time
- Support production flow from planning through fabrication and delivery
- Communicate with production, QA/QC, and leadership teams
- Help maintain quality standards and on-time delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or production
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of welding processes and fabrication methods preferred
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and/or AISC standards is a plus
- Experience with CAD, Excel, or production software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both at a desk and on the shop floor

· Ability to delegate responsibilities and assignments effectively to employees in department is required
· Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing at all levels of the organization
· Ability/competency reading blueprints
· AWS AISC Certification preferred

· Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
· Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
· Ability to view computer monitor
· Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
Technical Skills
