Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (In-Person & Community-Based)
Organization: Positive Growth Inc.
Compensation: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time (20–25 sessions/week) or Part-Time (12–15 sessions/week); flexible days and evenings required
Positive Growth Inc. is a community-based behavioral health organization providing outpatient mental health services to children, youth, adults, and families across the Metro Atlanta area. Position OverviewPositive Growth Inc. is seeking Multilingual Therapists to provide individual and family therapy services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses.
We welcome fully licensed clinicians as well as associate licensed candidates who are working toward full licensure.
This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about culturally competent care and serving multilingual and underserved communities.
Primary Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide individual, family, and (when appropriate) group therapy services
- Deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults
- Conduct initial consultations to gather client history and presenting concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Use therapeutic techniques (including interventions, role-play, and skills-building exercises)
- Provide crisis intervention and follow emergency protocols when necessary
- Counsel clients on emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Make referrals to additional services and community resources as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
- Meet with clients in office, home, school, virtual, and community settings
- Develop client-centered service plans and monitor progress
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals and families
- Engage and collaborate with families to support treatment goals
- Serve as a liaison between clients and community resource providers
- Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration and case conferencing
- Prepare and present progress reports on assigned cases
- Develop discharge plans and coordinate follow-up care
- Complete BIRP notes and all required clinical documentation
- Attend clinical review meetings, team meetings, and trainings
- Maintain ongoing continuing education and licensure requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Nursing, or a related field
- Active or associate-level licensure in Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, APC, LMSW, LAMFT, or PsyD)
- Ability to provide in-person services in Metro Atlanta
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Fully licensed clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Training in play therapy or child-centered interventions (highly preferred)
- Experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency strongly preferred (Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, French, or other languages common in Metro Atlanta communities)
- Experience in community-based or home-based services
- Cultural responsiveness and ability to serve diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills with clients and families
- Crisis intervention and problem-solving abilities
- Organization, documentation accuracy, and time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
This is a community-based role requiring services to be delivered in a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, office locations, and community environments throughout Metro Atlanta and in the native language of the client.
