Experienced Removable Dental Technician in Greenville, South Carolina at BonaDent

We are looking for a Dental Technician who specializes in Dentures to join our Team! Must have experience in setting, waxing and finishing dentures, a keen sense for Attention-to-Detail, and strive for High Quality Excellence! Reliability and Dependability are a must! Denture Technicians are responsible for the creation of removable appliances while following Doctors’ preferences and prescriptions and striving to meet daily production requirements. This position will set-up, wax-up, finish, polish, process dentures as well as perform repairs and finish stints. The Denture Technician will review and follow prescriptions and strive to meet daily production requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Baseplates: make bases for set up for try in using light cure material, make bases for occlusion rims and place wax rim on baseplate using rim former and wax
• Wax, Set-up and finish dentures cases
• Rims: Put onto cast frames
• Custom Trays: digitally design tray, finish tray after printing, use buff wheel to smooth edges and use putty to enhance names on trays
• Read and follow Doctors’ prescriptions and preferences.
• Organize, prioritize and plan work load in order to meet daily production requirements.
• Ensure work is performed according to quality standards.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
• Able to use small hand instruments
• Communicate and work well with others
• Strong visual perception, manual dexterity and motor skills
• Strong reading comprehension skills and attention to detail
• Ability to produce within a deadline
