Job Summary
We’re hiring a Sales Engineer (SE) to be a member of our early go-to-market team in India. You’ll partner with the VP of Sales and Account Executives to win our first enterprise automation deals in the ServiceNow and cross-SaaS ecosystem.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role shaping how enterprises adopt DevOps automation across multiple SaaS environments. You’ll bridge the gap between technical excellence and business impact, influencing both deal outcomes and product direction.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Solution Design
● Partner with Account Executives on discovery, qualification, and solution architecture for enterprise prospects in India.
- Deliver compelling demos and technical presentations that showcase the power of Tango’s product suite.
● Translate customer pain points around testing, QA, and deployment automation into actionable technical solutions.
- Design and execute proof-of-concepts, guiding prospects through integration, test setup, and automation workflows.
Technical Leadership
● Act as the subject-matter expert on DevOps, test automation, and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow and other SaaS platforms.
● Provide consultative guidance on API integrations, workflow automation, and test orchestration.
● Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback, identify integration gaps, and influence roadmap priorities.
Sales Enablement & Evangelism
● Develop technical sales assets: demo environments, solution diagrams, and competitive playbooks.
- Partner with marketing to create technical collateral and customer-facing content.
● Represent Tango at events, webinars, and customer briefings as a thought leader in cross-SaaS DevOps testing automation.
Qualifications & Experience
● 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales for enterprise SaaS or DevOps-related solutions.
● Strong understanding of ServiceNow or other enterprise SaaS and automation platforms.
● Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or API-based integrations.
● Excellent communicator and storyteller — able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
● Self-starter comfortable in a fast-moving, startup-style environment backed by an established company.
