Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Engineer will act as a technical leader responsible for driving architecture decisions, improving engineering practices, and delivering scalable software solutions. This role requires strong ownership of technical outcomes, collaboration across teams, and the ability to mentor engineers while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

  • Own the technical vision and direction for assigned product domains, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards.
  • Design, develop, and optimize high-impact SaaS applications using modern full-stack technologies.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, improving application performance, stability, and reliability.
  • Lead Agile development practices, including sprint planning, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards that improve quality, maintainability, and team effectiveness.
  • Champion AI-assisted development practices by leveraging modern AI tools for coding, analysis, and technical problem-solving.
  • Serve as a technical mentor by identifying growth opportunities, supporting engineers across levels, and raising overall team capability.
  • Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Balance short-term delivery goals with long-term architectural health by managing technical debt and improving system design.
  • Promote quality-first engineering practices through automated testing, reliable development workflows, and operational excellence.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep software engineering expertise combined with strong technical leadership abilities. You should have experience building scalable applications, guiding engineering teams, and applying modern development practices in fast-paced environments.

  • Extensive professional experience as a software engineer with strong backend and full-stack development expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency with .NET (C#), TypeScript/Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, event-driven development, and microservices.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency with relational databases, SQL optimization, and performance-focused engineering practices.
  • Experience building automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and modern application performance techniques.
  • Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar technologies to improve engineering workflows.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, QA, and engineering teams while navigating complex technical decisions.
  • Familiarity with .NET Core, NestJS, Kafka, AWS, or CRM platforms is a plus.
