Summary:
Responsible for safety and protection of guests and company assets; supervises security staff, provide effective leadership and assistance in regards to accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Security Department; assists with the department operations in a guest service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior team member, guest and vendor relations.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for personnel functions, such as: interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, development, supervision, delegations, evaluations and disciplinary actions; will perform these functions in a timely manner.
• Compiles and enters information into the computer systems and HRIS database.
• Responsible for securing and protecting company assets, team members, and guests.
• Responds to emergencies or arranged assignments with appropriate diligence for the situation.
• Responsible for making assessments and suggestions when procedures, policies, or rules should be altered.
• Responsible for safety program at assigned site which may include conducting training related to safety.
• Knowledge of machine/sports wagering kiosk drop routes and procedures.
• Coordinates with appropriate law enforcement agencies concerning all criminal activity taking place on Colville Gaming LLC property, including investigations of criminal and civil violation incidents.
• Transports company property and assets – e.g. machine/sports wagering drops, assets between sites, etc.
• Prepares team member schedules, including the scheduling of team member training.
• Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and annual paperwork and any reports according to department and company needs as assigned.
• Involves the department with casino promotions by having knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating barring and exclusion lists.
• Responsible for keeping Key Records and issuing sensitive keys.
• Ensures compliance with all departmental, company, gaming, state and federal laws, policies, procedures and any other applicable rules and regulations; enforces all required safety codes.
• Maintains and ensures compliance with policy and procedure for the security department.
• Must maintain confidentially.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Investigates or assists in investigating related to guest service issues, safety concerns, etc.
• Administers or assists with drug testing team members.
• Escorts all chips and cash transfers within the Casino.
• Operates and maintains office equipment, including but not limited to: computer, programmable telephone system, programmable fax and multi-use photocopier.
• Provides a high standard of professionalism and guest service.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferably in a casino environment.
• Minimum five (5) years of Law Enforcement, Corrections or Security experience.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in windows-based programs and knowledge to operate general office equipment, software and databases.
• Must possess a current and valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• Must possess a current and valid Tribal Gaming License.
• Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training upon hire and annually.
• Must possess a current and valid CPR/First Aid Certification, Blood Borne Pathogens Training, and MSDS Training.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain a Class 12 or 13 Mixology (MAST) permit, whichever is applicable.
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and/or read the English language.
• Must have skill in writing reports.
• Must have excellent observation skills.
• Must possess working knowledge of security systems and safety procedures.
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be professional at all times.
• Must be able to express proper etiquette.
• Ability to conduct drug and alcohol tests.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to be fair, consistent, honest, and unbiased.
• Must be able to follow directives and assigned schedule.
• Knowledge and experience with appropriate basic self-defense skills and Use of Force for security.
• Must successfully complete required training, which includes formal casino training, PSTN Security Supervisor, and Basic Security Officer training.
• Ability to apply applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekend, holidays, and special events when needed.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:
• Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently sit, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.
• Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat and/or reach.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to perform CPR.
• Ability to Ability to run up several flights of stairs or sprint a few hundred yards in emergencies.
• Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Frequently exposed to a stressful work environment.
• Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke.
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposed to bright and or flashing lights.
• Occasionally exposed to belligerent, combative and/or intoxicated patrons.
• Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone/radio conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts
