Job Description

Physical Therapy Team Leader

The Team Leader is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

The Team Leader's primary responsibility is clinical supervision of all clinical staff, Rehab Aides, Rehab Clerks, clerical staff and assigned float personnel. The Team Leader acts as a liaison between the therapy department and other hospital staff. Team Leaders assist their supervisor with quality assurance monitoring, performance improvement, program development and implementation and fiscal management of the department. The Team Leader may act as the Director of Rehab in his/her absence. Team Leaders also perform the job duties as outlined in Clinical I job description treating a variety of ages including pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric clients.

Qualifications

  • Meets qualifications of a Physical Clinical I Therapist, Team Leader.
  • Three years of experience in rehab services.
  • Demonstrates supervisory/leadership skills.
  • Trained and recertified every two years in CPR.
