As an Associate National Account Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving sales growth and nurturing relationships with our valued customers. Working alongside the VP of Sales and the Director of Sales, you'll jointly manage a portfolio of client accounts, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable sales experience and develop essential skills in the electronics industry. Other responsibilities include:
- Jointly manage and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to support sales initiatives and drive customer engagement.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward goals.
- Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Element Electronics and promote our products and services.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through mentoring Element leaders.
- Perform any other assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, marketing or related discipline
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
