Job Description

Sr. Director of Client Success, Creator Operations & Acquisition

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director of Client Success, Creator Operations & Acquisition based in United States.

This is a senior leadership opportunity spanning Client Success, Creator Operations, and Creator Acquisition within a fast-growing creator marketing environment.
You will lead a team of five managers and directors while shaping the strategy for client retention, expansion, creator supply, and operational performance.
The role combines executive-level client partnership with hands-on ownership of complex, margin-conscious operations.
You will build scalable systems that improve delivery speed, quality, profitability, and the overall client experience.
You will also guide creator network growth through agency partnerships, talent relationships, and direct acquisition aligned to market demand.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Strategy, you will turn data and industry insight into measurable business outcomes.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious, data-driven leader who thrives in scale-up environments and enjoys building teams, processes, and growth engines.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and develop teams: Lead, coach, and scale five managers and directors across Client Success, Creator Operations, and Creator Acquisition; establish performance standards, conduct regular 1:1s and reviews, support succession planning, and build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Drive client success and growth: Own strategy across the client portfolio, strengthen executive relationships, improve retention and expansion, and ensure clients achieve measurable outcomes through creator-led programs.
  • Manage key client relationships: Act as an executive sponsor for strategic accounts, lead account reviews with Sales, Strategy, and Operations, identify risks and opportunities, and align stakeholders around growth plans.
  • Optimize Creator Operations: Own sourcing, negotiation, and onboarding strategies while improving roster turnaround time, approval rates, delivery performance, quality, and margin protection.
  • Scale creator acquisition: Develop a margin-aware creator network strategy through agency partnerships, talent-management relationships, and direct creator acquisition, ensuring supply keeps pace with anticipated demand.
  • Build scalable processes: Establish operating frameworks, quality standards, vetting processes, accountability systems, and workflows that enable the organization to scale efficiently without relying solely on additional headcount.
  • Partner on technology and automation: Work with Product and Engineering to automate sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, and other operational workflows while influencing roadmap priorities that improve scalability.
  • Use data to drive decisions: Own and report on KPIs spanning retention, expansion, NPS, delivery speed, approval rates, margin, utilization, network health, and team engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Strategy, and other leaders to improve client outcomes, anticipate supply constraints, develop growth opportunities, and continuously strengthen operations.
  • Stay ahead of the market: Apply expertise across Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, YouTube, and adjacent channels to identify platform changes, creative trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within digital media, social, advertising, or agency environments, with a strong foundation in Customer Success.
  • Creator or influencer marketing experience, with at least 1 year of direct exposure and deep familiarity with paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Leadership experience: At least 1 year managing managers and experience leading teams of approximately 30+ people across multiple functions, including three or more direct reports.
  • Industry expertise: Background in ad tech, advertising, digital media, or agencies rather than a purely SaaS environment; exposure to both agency and ad tech models is highly desirable.
  • Enterprise sales partnership: 5+ years working directly with Sales teams on demand generation, pipeline, account strategy, and growth, with a proven ability to manage enterprise relationships.
  • Operational and commercial acumen: Demonstrated ability to balance client satisfaction, revenue growth, delivery speed, quality, team capacity, and margin simultaneously.
  • Data-driven leadership: Comfortable establishing and managing KPI frameworks and using quantitative insights to identify risks, prioritize initiatives, and improve performance.
  • Executive communication: Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence engaging senior and executive-level clients.
  • Scale-up mindset: Comfortable building processes from the ground up, operating with incomplete information, managing ambiguity, and making sound decisions in rapidly changing environments.
  • People leadership: Skilled at coaching managers, addressing performance gaps directly and empathetically, developing emerging leaders, and protecting team health while maintaining high standards.
  • Cross-functional influence: Able to work effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Strategy teams and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • AI mindset: High willingness to adopt AI-enabled tools and workflows and use emerging technology to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational scale.
  • Personal qualities: Data-oriented, entrepreneurial, low-ego, intellectually curious, resilient, and comfortable taking ownership in a high-growth environment.
Benefits:
  • Base salary: $175,000–$230,000 per year.
  • Additional compensation: Eligibility for variable compensation such as bonuses or commissions, depending on the role and location.
  • Equity: Stock options may be included as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Transparent compensation: Clearly defined compensation levels based on seniority, expertise, scope, performance expectations, and impact.
  • Remote work: Fully remote US-based opportunity.
  • Additional perks and benefits: Available depending on role and location.
  • Inclusive workplace: Commitment to diversity, equal opportunity, and an environment where employees can bring their authentic selves to work.
  • Accessibility support: Accommodations are available throughout the recruitment process for candidates who require them.
