- Build and manage relationships with prospective customers, executive sponsors, and ecosystem partners throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead scope-rationalization sessions with prospects to understand business requirements, align solutions, and establish appropriate engagement parameters.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to customer objectives and communicate value effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiate agreements with Directors, Vice Presidents, and C-suite executives.
- Close new business and ensure effective, structured handoffs to delivery teams following contract execution.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline activity, opportunity stages, and revenue forecasts.
- Partner closely with internal delivery and sales teams to support customer satisfaction and ensure solutions are aligned with expectations.
- Continuously identify new opportunities across financial planning, workforce planning, and relevant industry verticals.
- 5+ years of experience selling Workday Adaptive Planning to Director-, VP-, and C-level buyers within medium or large enterprise organizations.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex enterprise SaaS or cloud-platform deals.
- Strong ability to articulate how Workday or comparable SaaS/cloud solutions address customer business challenges and translate those capabilities into compelling sales propositions.
- Established relationships within the Workday ecosystem are strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, ideally involving average deal sizes of $250K+.
- Familiarity with the Workday project lifecycle, including Phase 1 implementations, Phase X expansions, and application management services engagements.
- Understanding of financial planning, workforce planning, or related enterprise planning solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare or nonprofit planning challenges is a plus.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, prospecting, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a polished and credible executive presence.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize a national book of business, and maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively with channel partners, sales teams, prospects, and delivery stakeholders.
- Fully remote position within the United States.
- Opportunity to manage a national book of business and work with medium and emerging enterprise customers.
- Exposure to senior-level stakeholders, including Directors, VPs, and C-suite executives.
- Opportunity to build and deepen relationships across the Workday ecosystem.
- Role focused on consultative selling of financial and workforce planning solutions with significant customer impact.
- Collaboration with experienced sales, planning, and delivery professionals throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Opportunity to contribute directly to new-business growth and expand expertise in enterprise planning and SaaS solutions.
- Employer commitment to equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.
- Compensation: The posting does not provide a valid base-salary range; it lists $0–$0, while noting that sales incentives, equity, bonuses, and benefits may be provided separately as applicable.
