Job Description
Role: Regional Production Technician
Reports to: Regional Production Lead
Hours Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) Sunday through Thursday schedule.
Objective: The Regional Production Technician will help promote life change by developing relationships and leading staff and volunteers to create excellent environments by preparing, maintaining, and operating audio, video and lighting systems at various locations.

- Be an LCBC Partner, or willing to become one within 60 days of employment. Regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.
Serve as the primary Production Services partner for approximately 3 to 5 LCBC locations, building strong relationships with campus staff and volunteers.
Proactively visit campuses throughout the region (Sundays & rehearsal nights) to understand their environments, identify needs, and help teams stay ahead of technical issues. Support teams and help ensure excellent execution.
Support production systems throughout the campus, including the main auditorium, Student Ministry, Kids Ministry, and other building environments utilizing audio, video, lighting, presentation, or related technology.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate the repair or replacement of equipment when needed.
Help campuses maintain “weekend-ready” production environments by identifying problems before they impact a gathering or ministry environment.
Respond to Production Support requests and work with the broader Production Services team to prioritize and resolve issues across LCBC.
Provide additional onsite support for significant gatherings, events, and launches
Assist Production Services with larger projects (campus builds or refreshes) as priorities may require.
Partner with campus staff to improve the reliability, organization, documentation, and overall health of their production environments.
Helping each location create excellent environments.
Identify recurring training needs & implement solutions.
Help develop volunteers and prospective volunteers.
Training staff and volunteers on best practices and caring for equipment.
Observing & coaching location staff during campus visits

Ability to work in rapidly changing, fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
Innovative, creative, self-starting, able to motivate and work with volunteers in a team environment.
Ability to think creatively and be an active contributor in production and team meetings.
Ability to make critical decisions in time-sensitive, live productions.
Ongoing physical ability to setup/teardown/install equipment.
Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

Evaluation:
The Regional Production Technician will meet regularly with the Production Support Lead for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
