This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Auditoria de Dados based in Brazil.

Accountabilities:
  • Data auditing: Audit corporate financial, operational, and management databases to validate the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of the information used across the organization.
  • Data validation: Analyze large volumes of data, cross-reference information from different sources, and identify inconsistencies, anomalies, or potential errors requiring investigation.
  • Issue resolution: Investigate identified discrepancies and support the resolution of data inconsistencies, ensuring that corrections are properly addressed and information remains reliable.
  • Process review: Review internal processes related to data generation, management, and validation, identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements to reduce recurring errors and systemic failures.
  • Data governance: Work collaboratively with different business areas to strengthen data governance practices and promote greater consistency and reliability in corporate information.
  • Decision-making support: Provide accurate and validated information that can support management analysis, operational decisions, and broader business planning.
  • Automation: Develop and apply logical solutions, scripts, and automation techniques to optimize recurring data checks, audits, reconciliations, and validation activities.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to make audit and data-validation routines more efficient, scalable, and reliable through better processes and appropriate use of technology.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Postgraduate or MBA education is also considered relevant.
  • Spreadsheet expertise: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, particularly for manipulating large datasets, creating pivot tables, performing reconciliations, and cross-referencing information.
  • Data analysis: Strong analytical ability and attention to detail, with the capacity to identify patterns, inconsistencies, anomalies, and potential data-quality issues.
  • BI tools: Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Google Data Studio and an interest in using visualization and reporting technologies to analyze business information.
  • Automation and programming: Knowledge of programming logic or scripting, particularly Apps Script and/or SQL, with the ability to apply automation to repetitive data and audit processes.
  • Process orientation: Ability to understand business processes, identify control gaps, and propose practical improvements that reduce errors and increase operational efficiency.
  • Communication and collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and translate analytical findings into clear recommendations.
  • Problem-solving: A structured and investigative approach to solving problems, with the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Relevant experience: Previous experience in internal audit, controllership, process analysis, financial controls, or a similar area is considered a strong advantage.
