Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Paint Technician to join our growing Production Team. If you take pride in craftsmanship, have strong color-matching skills, and thrive in a team-focused manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
Position Summary:
The Automotive Paint Technician is responsible for preparing, painting, finishing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure high-quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, technical painting knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mix paint and related supplies to achieve precise color matching
• Wet sand, buff, and prime vehicle surfaces
• Prep vehicles including taping, masking, and scuffing
• Stage and paint vehicles in designated paint areas
• Load and operate paint booth equipment
• Order and maintain paint and detailing supplies
• Inspect quality of completed units
• Maintain and detail built units prior to shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate effectively with team members across production
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven automotive paint experience required
• Strong color-matching knowledge
• Experience with body work and detailing
• Automotive repair experience preferred
• High attention to detail and quality
• Positive attitude and self-starter mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED required
