Job Description
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Associate (CSA) supports the Customer Experience department with assigned projects, participates in program development, and assists with any additional needs of the department. Utilizing a wide variety of resources and best practices, assists the department with the overall patient experience projects and works collaboratively with members of leadership to drive mutually agreed-upon service excellence goals.
Qualifications:
Education:

Associate degree in related field required.

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 1 (one) year of hospital customer service experience required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Exemplify the core customer service skills of Excellence, Compassion, Healing, Teamwork, Stewardship, Innovation, and Integrity.

Assists in answering incoming calls and emails in an efficient manner and functions as a liaison and role model between patients/families, staff, and hospital departments to ensure a positive patient experience.

Assists with the management of customer concerns with the objective of maintaining positive customer relationships on behalf of CMC.

Interacts directly with patients and/or their families to listen to concerns, resolve problems and recommend services according to the needs of everyone.

Assists with and takes lead on selected employee engagement initiatives established to drive employee satisfaction.

Follows company communication procedures, policies, and guidelines always and performs each duty with our customers’ satisfaction as the number one priority.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Explorer, and PowerPoint.

Work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, and department heads.

Effectively utilize strong organizational skills.

Consistently display effective verbal and written communication skills.

remain calm and professional in difficult and high intensity situations.

Regularly exercise independent judgement.
