This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Agent (Appointment Setter) based in India.
This is a customer-facing sales opportunity for a strong communicator who enjoys connecting with people and creating positive first impressions.
You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, helping them understand the next step and connecting them with the appropriate sales consultant.
The role combines outbound calling, inbound lead engagement, follow-ups, qualification, and appointment setting.
Your work will directly influence lead conversion, sales performance, and the overall customer experience.

Success will be measured through appointment-setting targets, KPIs, accurate CRM management, and consistent follow-through.

- Outbound sales: Make outbound calls to prospective clients, qualify their interest and needs, and schedule consultations with Visa Consultants.
- Inbound lead management: Handle incoming calls, chats, and emails, converting qualified interest into scheduled appointments.
- Customer engagement: Create a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for every prospective client throughout the initial interaction.
- Follow-up: Proactively contact prospects through SMS, email, and phone to maintain engagement and maximize appointment conversion.
- Product knowledge: Continuously learn about services, advertising campaigns, and client-facing materials to communicate confidently and accurately.
- Performance: Meet or exceed appointment-setting targets and other relevant sales and service KPIs.
- CRM administration: Keep client information, interactions, appointment outcomes, and follow-up activities accurate and up to date in CRM and internal systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and support functions to ensure smooth handovers and a consistent customer journey.
- Issue escalation: Identify recurring client concerns or operational challenges and communicate them to the Manager.
- Continuous improvement: Take initiative, share ideas, and contribute to improvements in processes and overall team performance.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales, appointment setting, inside sales, lead generation, customer service, or another relevant customer-facing position.
- Sales skills: Demonstrated experience in outbound sales, inside sales, or US sales, with confidence engaging prospects over the phone.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport quickly and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Customer orientation: A service-focused mindset, with empathy, patience, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help prospective clients.
- Lead qualification: Ability to identify qualified prospects, understand their needs, address initial questions or objections, and guide them toward booking a consultation.
- Persistence: Strong follow-up skills and the ability to remain motivated and professional when managing multiple prospects.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage prospect information, follow-ups, and appointments accurately.
- Technology: Comfortable using CRM platforms, communication tools, and internal systems to document customer interactions.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn continuously about services, campaigns, processes, and changing business priorities.
- Performance mindset: Comfortable working toward measurable targets and KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with sales consultants, support teams, and management in a remote setting.
- Availability: Able to commit to 160–200 hours per month and work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
