As a Senior Product Owner/Domain Specialist, you will translate complex financial, regulatory, and operational requirements into clear, testable product journeys and specifications. You will play a key role in shaping solutions related to escritural receivables and the broader duplicata escritural ecosystem. Working across business, operations, technology, Legal, Compliance, and AI-enabled teams, you will ensure requirements are accurately interpreted, prioritized, and documented. Your work will directly influence backlog decisions, delivery quality, regulatory alignment, and operational efficiency. The role combines product ownership, domain expertise, requirements management, and governance in a highly collaborative environment. You will also help establish reliable domain knowledge and ensure that critical business decisions remain under appropriate human ownership.
- Lead discovery and refinement sessions with business, operations, technology, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to establish clear requirements and priorities.
- Map business journeys, actors, events, states, business rules, exceptions, and integrations associated with escritural receivables and duplicata escritural processes.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, regulatory risk, dependencies, technical readiness, and operational impact.
- Create and maintain functional specifications covering objectives, scope, business rules, contracts, acceptance criteria, exception scenarios, and expected evidence.
- Ensure relevant business and regulatory rules have documented sources, decisions, and clearly assigned validation owners.
- Validate regulatory and business interpretations with Legal and Compliance before implementation.
- Define objective, testable acceptance criteria aligned with end-to-end business journeys.
- Review artifacts produced by AI agents and other contributors across discovery, specifications, risk analysis, testing, and documentation.
- Govern the domain knowledge base, ensuring information remains consistent, traceable, current, and free from duplication or unsupported assumptions.
- Maintain dependency maps covering registrars, homologation environments, data, access requirements, and relevant technology teams.
- Support the definition of the current-state process baseline and success indicators for the first implementation wave.
- Lead refinements, delivery validations, demonstrations, and business acceptance activities.
- Manage scope changes by documenting their potential impact on timelines, risks, architecture, and delivery capacity.
- Represent business needs in product decisions while retaining human ownership of decisions that require business, regulatory, or organizational authority.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Domain Specialist, or equivalent role within financial products or services.
- Practical knowledge of credit, receivables, receivables financing, collections, assignment, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to interpret regulations, technical manuals, and operational rules and translate them into clear, testable product requirements.
- Experience managing product journeys, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlogs, and prioritization based on value and risk.
- Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, security, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Excellent organization skills, with the ability to keep documentation, decisions, glossaries, sources, and dependencies accurate and up to date.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to identify and eliminate ambiguity in complex requirements.
- Knowledge of escritural receivables, registration processes, negotiable instruments, endorsements, guarantees, liens, encumbrances, and interoperability is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with the Central Bank, registrars, book-entry institutions, central depositories, or financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with legacy systems and regulatory modernization initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with APIs, events, messaging, and software architecture concepts sufficient to assess and discuss technical impact.
- Knowledge of LGPD, audit requirements, internal controls, and access segregation is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with AI agents for discovery, requirements analysis, documentation, or related product activities is a plus.
