Account Executive, Financial Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive, Financial Services based in United States.

This is a high-impact, new-business sales role focused on expanding SaaS solutions across the Wealth, Trust, and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) sectors. You will own the full sales cycle, from self-sourced prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing, while engaging senior decision-makers across financial services organizations. The role requires a strong understanding of compliance, risk, vendor management, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency challenges. You will use a consultative, outcomes-focused approach to connect technology capabilities with measurable business value. As a dedicated hunter, you will build your own pipeline, navigate complex buying processes, and maintain disciplined forecasting. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, offering significant ownership and the opportunity to help financial institutions become more resilient and efficient.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full sales cycle for SaaS-based risk, compliance, and third-party management solutions, from prospecting and qualification through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing with Wealth, Trust, and RIA organizations.
  • Identify, develop, and close new-logo opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, referrals, strategic partnerships, and other pipeline-generation activities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring accurate deal progression, strong forecasting discipline, and consistent visibility into expected revenue.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations with senior leaders to understand regulatory, compliance, operational, cybersecurity, vendor-management, and efficiency challenges and connect those needs to appropriate solutions.
  • Develop compelling, outcomes-based sales narratives that clearly communicate business value, return on investment, and the practical impact of technology on customer organizations.
  • Navigate multi-threaded and complex sales cycles by building relationships across technical, operational, compliance, and executive stakeholders and maintaining momentum throughout the buying process.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Product, Partnerships, and other internal teams to align messaging, coordinate execution, and maximize opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and deal information in Salesforce to support effective sales management and business visibility.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets through disciplined prospecting, opportunity management, and closing execution.
Requirements:
  • Bring at least 5 years of SaaS sales experience, with 2 or more years selling into Wealth, Trust, or RIA organizations strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in new-logo acquisition roles, including experience managing annual sales quotas of $600,000 or more in ARR.
  • Proven ability to independently generate a significant portion of pipeline, with experience self-sourcing at least half of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and relationship development.
  • Experience selling compliance, risk management, vendor management, workflow automation, or comparable business software is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes and the ability to navigate lengthy buying cycles while maintaining executive engagement and deal momentum.
  • Excellent discovery, storytelling, presentation, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable engaging C-level and senior decision-makers, including Chief Compliance Officers, COOs, CTOs, Risk Officers, and other executive stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of the operational challenges facing Wealth, Trust, and RIA organizations, particularly in areas such as compliance, cybersecurity, vendor oversight, and operational efficiency.
  • Highly resilient, proactive, accountable, and disciplined, with the ability to remain motivated through complex sales cycles and consistently pursue ambitious goals.
  • Team-oriented, coachable, curious, and comfortable working within established sales processes while taking ownership of individual performance.
  • High integrity and a genuine interest in understanding customer challenges and helping organizations solve meaningful business problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Benefits:
  • Fast-paced and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Responsible PTO plan that meets or exceeds applicable state and local medical and family leave requirements.
  • 11 paid company holidays.
  • Community and social events designed to support connection and team engagement.
  • Mental health benefits and wellbeing support.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Company-paid group life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage.
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • Supplemental Aflac benefits, including critical illness, cancer protection, and hospital coverage.
  • Pet insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and eligibility beginning on the first day of employment.
  • Two paid volunteer time-off days.
  • Additional employee benefits and programs designed to support health, financial wellbeing, flexibility, and work-life balance.
