Implementation Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Implementation Consultant based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to guide customers through successful software implementations within a fast-growing technology environment.
You will combine consulting, technical configuration, project coordination, and customer engagement to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
Working across multiple implementation projects, you will translate customer requirements into effective system configurations and practical outcomes.
You will develop deep expertise in risk and compliance software while advising customers on configuration and industry best practices.
The position involves close collaboration with customer success, sales, support, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
You will receive structured onboarding, apprenticeship, and mentorship before progressively taking on greater client-facing responsibilities.

Accountabilities:
  • Configure software applications for customers using an enablement and teaching-oriented approach that promotes effective adoption.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate multiple customer implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
  • Gather and analyze customer requirements and translate them into appropriate software capabilities and configurations.
  • Develop and deliver strong product and technical expertise to customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Consult with customers on system configuration and implementation approaches based on product capabilities and relevant industry best practices.
  • Facilitate customer touchpoints, project status meetings, implementation workshops, and other engagement activities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Deliver a combination of remote and onsite customer implementation workshops as required.
  • Participate in knowledge-transfer sessions, product training, and strategic initiatives supporting customer success and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer support, product development, engineering, and other internal teams to address customer needs and ensure successful implementations.
  • Contribute to the development of implementation best practices, project standards, methodologies, policies, and procedures that improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of platform functionality, configuration options, solutions, and implementation best practices.
  • Take ownership of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while proactively communicating progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Build expertise progressively through structured onboarding, mentorship, client-facing assignments, and continued professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent professional experience; an MBA or MS is a plus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in client-facing roles, preferably within software implementation, information technology, or a related technical environment.
  • Professional experience working with software applications and configuring technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to work with larger volumes of data, spreadsheets, data manipulation, formulas, and CSV files.
  • Fundamental knowledge of database concepts and relational data structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities and a consistent focus on quality and customer outcomes.
  • Project management experience with strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic, self-starting, and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop deep technical expertise in software solutions and configuration practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration is a plus.
  • Must be based in the United States.
