Job Description
Sphere Investigations is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources team by administering onboarding, employee documentation, compliance tracking, reporting, and HR administrative functions. This position serves as a key support role during the employee lifecycle and helps ensure accurate records, timely processing, and exceptional service for employees and managers.
The HR Coordinator works closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Licensing teams to facilitate onboarding, maintain employee records, support workforce compliance, and assist with HR initiatives across a growing nationwide workforce.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and complete onboarding documentation.
- Ensure all required employment documents are properly completed and retained.
- Review and monitor pre-employment background check results.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Update employee profiles, employment changes, organizational information, and personnel records.
- Assist with employee badge creation and distribution.
- Prepare employment verification requests and routine employee documentation.
- Track onboarding compliance requirements and outstanding employee documentation.
- Partner with Licensing and HR teams to support employee licensing compliance requirements.
- Support employee training and compliance tracking activities.
- Respond to routine employee questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR team member.
- Assist with benefits enrollment activities and employee communications.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee information is entered and maintained.
- Assist with other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative, or Operations experience preferred.
- Experience working within an HRIS system preferred.
- Multi-state workforce support experience is a plus.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong time management and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support evolving business needs.
