We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. In this role, you’ll assist with a variety of angiographic and interventional radiology procedures, helping deliver minimally invasive, image-guided treatments in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures
- Operate and maintain fluoroscopy units, C-arm, and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to sterile technique.
- Administer and monitor contrast media usage in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
- Advanced certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred but not required
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or interventional radiology setting preferred but will train new graduates
- Proficiency in operating angiography and fluoroscopy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, sterile technique, radiation safety, and contrast media protocols.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
