This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager, Manufacturing Install Base | ERP, EAM, Field Service Management based in the United States.
This role is focused on expanding and strengthening strategic relationships across an established portfolio of manufacturing customers.
You will own account strategies, identify growth opportunities, and drive revenue through software, cloud, professional services, and renewal offerings.
The position combines consultative selling, executive relationship management, business planning, and deep understanding of customers’ technology and operational priorities.
You will engage directly with senior and C-level stakeholders to uncover business challenges and position solutions that deliver measurable value.
Working across sales, marketing, partners, presales, support, and professional services, you will build and convert pipeline while creating sustainable account growth.
The role offers significant exposure to enterprise technologies spanning ERP, enterprise asset management, field service, mobile workforce, supply chain, CRM, and related solutions.

- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and quota targets through effective sales execution, strategic account planning, and disciplined pipeline management.
- Own a portfolio of strategic customer accounts and drive growth across software licenses, cloud subscriptions, professional services, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive account plans that align customer priorities, business challenges, technology strategies, and growth objectives with relevant solution opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business requirements and delivering clear, value-based recommendations.
- Research customers and competitors to understand technology footprints, strategic initiatives, market developments, executive changes, and competitive dynamics that may influence purchasing decisions.
- Identify and execute white-space strategies across existing accounts to uncover new opportunities for expansion and increased customer value.
- Develop business cases using benchmarking, ROI analysis, and customer-specific insights to support executive decision-making and demonstrate measurable business outcomes.
- Leverage internal and external resources, including marketing, partners, presales, support, business operations, and professional services, to develop and convert qualified pipeline.
- Position a broad portfolio of enterprise software and technology solutions across areas such as ERP, CRM, supply chain, product lifecycle management, enterprise asset management, maintenance and repair operations, business analytics, mobility, and field service.
- Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing customers’ operational challenges, particularly across field service, workforce scheduling, warranty, reverse logistics, and mobile workforce management.
- Support regional promotions, customer events, and other initiatives designed to strengthen relationships and generate new sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, forecasting, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
- Build long-term customer relationships that encourage advocacy, references, and continued partnership.
Requirements:
- Bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in complex enterprise software sales and strategic account management.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of manufacturing environments and, preferably, field service, workforce scheduling, warranty, reverse logistics, mobile solutions, or mobile workforce management.
- Have a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas and managing revenue targets.
- Demonstrate strong strategic and consultative value-selling capabilities, with the ability to connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
- Be highly effective at communicating with and influencing C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Quickly understand complex customer challenges and clearly articulate the business value of appropriate enterprise software solutions.
- Demonstrate strong account planning, opportunity development, pipeline management, negotiation, and forecasting capabilities.
- Be comfortable collaborating with solution experts and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive customer strategies and sales pursuits.
- Be a quick learner and strong problem solver who can make sound decisions and adapt effectively in complex, fast-moving situations.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong initiative, persistence, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a customer-focused and consultative approach.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Be willing and able to travel approximately 50–60% as required by customer and business needs.
