This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Legal Operations based in United States.

This is a strategic legal operations leadership role focused on building scalable processes, strengthening organizational efficiency, and supporting a rapidly growing technology environment. You will lead legal operations teams while partnering closely with executive leadership, Finance, HR, and other business functions. The role spans corporate governance, entity management, securities compliance, strategic transactions, contracts, legal technology, and departmental workflows. You will help establish the operational roadmap for the legal function and introduce systems that improve visibility, consistency, and execution. Success will require strong judgment, exceptional organization, and the ability to translate complex legal needs into practical operational solutions. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact legal function while developing people, processes, and technology for long-term scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the legal operations function, including team performance, coaching, professional development, workflow management, and the continuous improvement of legal support processes.
  • Direct corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records, governance documentation, Board and committee materials, resolutions, meeting logistics, and related documentation.
  • Oversee corporate entity structures and subsidiary records across domestic and international jurisdictions, while maintaining capitalization records and coordinating equity administration activities.
  • Support securities and public company compliance by assisting with Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, disclosure controls and procedures, insider trading documentation, and coordination with Finance and external counsel.
  • Support strategic corporate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, and partnerships, by coordinating due diligence, document management, transaction records, and closing documentation.
  • Direct contract lifecycle management and legal documentation workflows, including template management, approvals, signatures, and processes designed to improve turnaround times and operational efficiency.
  • Manage legal department records, document management systems, and legal technology implementations while identifying opportunities to improve workflows and long-term scalability.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and other functions on corporate policies, compliance initiatives, regulatory filings, deadlines, and governance requirements.
  • Translate legal department needs into scalable operational strategies, driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring that processes, systems, and resources evolve with organizational growth.
Requirements:
  • Bring 10+ years of legal operations or paralegal experience, including significant leadership responsibility and demonstrated success managing complex legal workflows.
  • Have proven experience leading legal operations teams or departments, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and improving operational effectiveness.
  • Possess experience supporting corporate governance, entity management, Board and committee activities, and securities compliance, with public company or late-stage pre-IPO experience strongly preferred.
  • Have prior experience within a law firm or in-house legal department and a strong understanding of corporate governance processes and entity administration.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive legal and corporate information.
  • Be comfortable with entity management platforms such as Carta, Shareworks, or similar systems, as well as document management systems, electronic signature platforms such as DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and legal workflow technologies.
  • Be a strategic decision-maker who can convert legal requirements into practical operational solutions and drive long-term planning and execution.
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership, including mentorship, performance management, professional development, and succession planning.
  • Possess strong executive-level communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across Legal, Finance, HR, and other senior stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range of $145,000–$227,000 USD, with final compensation determined by factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • 401(k) plan with a 6% company match.
  • Company stock options.
  • 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, and short- and long-term disability insurance for employees.
  • Benefits eligibility beginning on the first day of employment.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and well-being support.
  • Flexible, unlimited PTO and 12 company holidays, including a winter shutdown, for exempt employees.
  • For non-exempt employees, 10 vacation days, paid sick leave, and 12 company holidays, including a winter shutdown.
  • Generous paid parental leave programs.
  • Company-subsidized memberships to Wellhub and Peloton.
  • Professional development and tuition reimbursement opportunities.
  • Catered lunches four times per week, along with healthy snacks and refreshments at designated office locations.
  • Relocation assistance for eligible roles and an annual discretionary bonus for eligible positions.
  • Fully remote work within the United States, with the option to work in a hybrid arrangement for those within commuting distance of offices in Salem, OR, Pittsburgh, PA, or Fremont, CA.
  • All roles are U.S.-based, and candidates must have current authorization to work in the United States.
