Product Manager - Platform (Healthcare/SaaS/EHR)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager – Platform (Healthcare/SaaS/EHR) based in United States.

This is a high-impact, strategic product role focused on building and evolving the foundational platform that powers a modern electronic medical records ecosystem. You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for shared services that enable scalability, reliability, and consistency across multiple product domains. Acting as a central connector between clinical, operational, and technical teams, you will ensure that platform capabilities are reusable, secure, and aligned with long-term product goals. The role requires strong technical fluency and the ability to translate complex architecture decisions into clear business value. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and domain product teams to drive alignment and execution. This is an opportunity to shape the “digital backbone” of a mission-driven healthcare technology environment.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for defining and driving the platform vision, ensuring it supports scalable and efficient product development across the organization.

  • Own the platform strategy and roadmap for shared services, prioritizing initiatives based on scalability, feasibility, and business impact.
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for APIs, authentication, access control, and system integrations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to identify dependencies and design reusable platform capabilities.
  • Champion reliability, security, and compliance across all platform components, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption, reuse, and platform performance metrics.
  • Facilitate prioritization and sequencing across multiple domains to ensure alignment with broader product and delivery timelines.
  • Translate strategic platform needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering execution.
  • Advocate for developer experience improvements, promoting consistency and reuse across internal tools and services.
Requirements:

You bring a strong blend of technical expertise, product leadership, and strategic thinking, with experience in complex platform environments.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in SaaS, EMR, healthcare technology, or platform/infrastructure products.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architecture, identity management, and access control frameworks.
  • Proven ability to define governance models that balance flexibility with standardization across teams.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in highly technical environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform prioritization and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across complex initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus: experience with cloud-native microservices, multi-tenant SaaS systems, healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), or EHR/EMR platforms.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work within eligible U.S. states
  • Competitive compensation package (based on experience)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • HSA/FSA flexible spending accounts
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off, 11 paid holidays, and year-end holiday break
  • Paid parental leave
  • Disability and life insurance coverage
  • Employee assistance and wellness programs
  • Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare technology used at scale
