The role offers significant visibility, executive-level collaboration, and the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on a global organization.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the global monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting through robust controls, quality assurance procedures, and clearly defined review processes.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including executive reporting packages, lender reporting, management reporting, and financial analyses that support strategic decision-making.
  • Own technical accounting functions, including revenue recognition, ASC 606 compliance, contract asset management, deferred revenue accounting, SSP allocation methodologies, and research of complex accounting matters.
  • Manage lender compliance reporting, quarterly compliance certificates, covenant calculations, supporting documentation, and relationships with lending institutions and financial stakeholders.
  • Direct external audit engagements and statutory audits across multiple international jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Lead treasury-related accounting oversight, including cash reporting, banking controls, account governance, and financial risk management processes.
  • Develop, mentor, and scale global accounting teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC while strengthening organizational capabilities, succession planning, and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Tax, Revenue Operations, and executive leadership to improve order-to-cash processes, enhance data integrity, optimize financial systems, and implement scalable accounting policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, system optimization, process standardization, close-cycle acceleration, and reduction of manual accounting activities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant tenure within public accounting environments and prior leadership experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent senior accounting executive.
  • Proven experience operating within private-equity-backed organizations, including ownership of lender reporting, compliance certificates, covenant management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting with advanced knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract accounting, deferred revenue, SSP allocation methodologies, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated success rebuilding, optimizing, or transforming accounting functions, close processes, reporting frameworks, and internal control environments.
  • Extensive experience managing global accounting organizations, international audits, shared service models, and multi-jurisdictional financial operations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams, driving accountability, and fostering collaboration across geographically distributed functions.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and familiarity with advanced revenue recognition platforms such as RevPro or similar systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting matters to executive and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; active CPA license strongly preferred.
  • Additional experience with multiple revenue models, quality reviews, audit remediation projects, staged billing programs, and private equity reporting environments is highly valued.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $250,727 to $376,091 USD, based on experience, location, skills, and business needs.
  • Fully remote work flexibility within the United States.
  • Executive-level visibility and direct partnership with senior leadership.
  • Opportunity to lead and transform a global accounting organization.
  • Exposure to complex international operations and strategic business initiatives.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative and high-performing culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunity to influence financial strategy, operational excellence, and organizational scalability.
