Position Summary

The Journeyman IDM Document Management Specialist supports the IDM project team for the Hill CEDC IT Operations & Maintenance contract at Hill AFB by supporting documentation governance, customer‑facing standardization artifacts, and deliverable preparation activities. The Specialist ensures IDM documentation is accurate, complete, traceable, and audit‑ready in support of cybersecurity, Configuration and Change Management, and Program Management functions. As a Journeyman‑level contributor, this position performs all functional duties independently and applies expertise across multiple complex work assignments.

Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain customer‑facing standardization artifacts—including SLAs, MOAs, MFRs, ULAs, and System Interconnect and Inheritance Addendums—in coordination with project and Government stakeholders.Prepare and deliver IDM project CDRLs and maintain the Data Accession List (DAL) with monthly updates.Facilitate IDM technical meetings by preparing agendas, tracking action items, and producing meeting minutes.Maintain organized repositories for IDM documentation, ensuring proper version control, traceability, and compliance with required standards.Support RMF documentation needs for the IDM environment, including control evidence, assessment artifacts, and continuous monitoring records.Maintain SOPs, workflows, and knowledge base articles supporting IDM cybersecurity and operational processes.Coordinate with cybersecurity analysts, system administrators, technical SMEs, and Government stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.Support Program Reviews and stakeholder engagements by preparing documentation packets and supporting materials.Ensure all documentation is properly marked, stored, version‑controlled, and audit‑ready.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.2+ years of experience in document management, records management, or technical documentation for IT, cybersecurity, or federal programs.Ability to perform all functional duties independently.Experience preparing contract deliverables, managing documentation repositories, or supporting compliance artifacts.Understanding of enterprise IT operations and documentation needs.Experience supporting RMF documentation, Configuration and Change Management, or ITSM evidence requirements.Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation.Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, version control systems).Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Must possess a Secret clearance.Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background investigation.U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

    ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.Certified Records Manager (CRM) or similar credential.Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs, RMF activities, or enterprise IT environments.

Working Conditions / Environment / Physical Demands

    Position is performed on site at Hill AFB, Utah, in a secure professional environment.Standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend work Work involves extensive computer and secure network use, including prolonged periods of sitting and screen time.Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, or program reviews.
