Line Cook in Massillon, Ohio at SHADY HOLLOW COUNTRY CLUB INC

Shady Hollow Country Club is searching for an experienced line cook, with a strong culinary back ground. We service three ala carte venues and a pool café service as well. Many banquets including weddings and member events. This is a full time, year round position, with a short closer window in January. Come work with a great culinary team. Principle Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations
Clock in and out in uniform, ready to work at all times while ON-the clock
Cook food to recipe or chef’s requirements, with the upmost quality of product, temperature, doneness, and plate presentation.
Cook food in a timely manner: Lunch 10-15 minutes Dinner 20-25 minutes
Set up your station with food prep, utensils, towels, and any other items needed for your station
You will be required to prepare food for banquets and ala carte
Prep food items according to the prep list, and banquet sheets
Help put deliveries away as required and in the proper places.
Clean your station as you work, keep a clean and organized station.
Work on general cleaning projects as directed by the Executive and Sous chefs.
Help-out on other stations including, dish washer, prep, pantry, grill, and sauté.
You will be required to wash dishes on particular shifts when needed.
Work in a friendly and positive manner always.
Tell someone if you need to leave the kitchen
You will be expected to do other things when asked outside of your normal realm of work.
