Senior Territory Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Territory Manager based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in advancing innovative medical technologies that directly improve patient outcomes in cardiovascular care. You will be responsible for developing and expanding business within a defined territory while building trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. The position combines strategic sales execution with strong clinical understanding, particularly in structural heart therapies and surgical environments. You will act as a key advisor to medical teams, helping them better understand product value and clinical applications. With a strong focus on market growth and customer engagement, you will identify new opportunities, influence purchasing decisions, and strengthen brand presence. This is a high-impact, field-based role within a fast-evolving medical technology environment where your expertise directly contributes to better patient care.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned territory in the structural heart and surgical business area
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, hospital stakeholders, and key influencers
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding market share in the assigned region
  • Develop and execute annual territory plans aligned with sales targets and business objectives
  • Provide clinical and product expertise on cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and relevant medical device applications
  • Influence customer purchasing decisions through tailored value-based discussions and strategic engagement
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and execution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Biomedical, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in medical device sales, preferably within surgical or cardiovascular markets
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and structural heart therapies
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence complex healthcare stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in territory management and sales target achievement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, field-based environments with strong organizational discipline
