Job Description
Scribe - Medical Assistant
Job Summary
Performs a variety of basic nursing-related and medical office tasks of average difficulty; A scribe enters information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or chart at the direction of a provider.
Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- Preferred
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant/Scribe
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Preferred
- Certification in Medical Assisting
