About the Role:

The Cheese UF Technician III plays a critical role in the production and quality assurance of cheese products within our durable goods manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the cheese production process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize production efficiency. Additionally, they will be involved in troubleshooting production issues and conducting regular equipment maintenance to minimize downtime. Ultimately, the Cheese UF Technician III contributes to the overall success of the facility by ensuring that our cheese products are consistently produced to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in cheese production or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field.
• Experience with automated production systems and equipment.
• Certification in HACCP or other food safety programs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the cheese production process, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to perform product testing and analysis, documenting results and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on production techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
