Job Description
Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a growing car wash organization. This role partners closely with operations leadership to provide actionable financial insights, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making across multiple locations. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting knowledge with advanced analytical skills and experience utilizing ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the organization.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
- Partner with operations leadership to evaluate business performance, profitability, and growth opportunities.
- Develop financial models and provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue, membership trends, labor costs, and operating expenses.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls.
- Utilize ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, to manage financial data, reporting, and analytics.
- Performing timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations, etc.), ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate.
- All other duties assigned by your direct supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field is required.
- Proven previous experience as an accounting manager or higher position.
- Understanding of accounting principles and finance-related tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word); Adobe Acrobat knowledge preferred.
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).
WORK ENVIRONMENT

- This position will work at the corporate office.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible full-time schedule including working some evenings and weekends.
- Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation. Current hours of operation are 7 days a week, 7:30 am-9 pm, closing only December 25th. Typical corporate office hours are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
