This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced telecommunications and systems validation professional passionate about ensuring the reliability and readiness of next-generation connectivity solutions. In this role, you will oversee advanced lab and field validation programs that simulate real-world network conditions and verify the quality of complex integrated systems before deployment. You will play a critical role in defining validation strategies, establishing release standards, and driving operational excellence across software, hardware, and infrastructure environments. Working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams, you’ll help prevent non-conforming solutions from reaching production while enabling continuous innovation. This position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale network operations, lead highly technical teams, and shape the future of cutting-edge communications technologies in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of advanced lab environments designed to replicate real-world telecommunications and network ecosystems.
  • Define and execute comprehensive validation strategies, including test plans, automation frameworks, release acceptance criteria, and quality standards across multiple network domains.
  • Oversee end-to-end validation activities for new features, system configurations, and releases, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and auditability throughout the process.
  • Serve as a key decision-maker by providing Go/No-Go recommendations based on validation outcomes and risk assessments prior to deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, development, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot complex field issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve system performance.
  • Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional validation teams while fostering a strong culture of quality assurance and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation methodologies, automation capabilities, and release governance practices.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and coordinate across technical and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and service readiness objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in telecommunications, wireless networks, satellite communications, or related technical industries.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing highly technical engineering or validation teams in complex operational environments.
  • Strong expertise in system validation methodologies, test automation frameworks, and pre-production or lab-based network testing environments.
  • Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, network architectures, distributed systems, and integration processes.
  • Proven ability to reproduce and analyze complex production-level issues in controlled lab environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required by business operations.
Benefits:
  • Opportunity to work on groundbreaking global connectivity and telecommunications technologies.
  • Fully remote or flexible work environment depending on project requirements.
  • Exposure to highly innovative engineering and validation initiatives within a rapidly growing industry.
  • Leadership role with significant strategic influence and visibility across technical teams.
  • Collaborative and mission-driven culture focused on innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Professional growth opportunities within advanced telecommunications and space technology programs.
  • Inclusive and equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity and professional development.
