We are a New Jersey State-licensed ambulatory care facility operating as a multi-specialty musculoskeletal (MSK) super group — a vertically integrated, multi-provider healthcare enterprise delivering the full continuum of MSK and wellness care under one roof, with planned expansion into additional states.Our clinical model mirrors a hospital-based outpatient center without the overhead, bureaucracy, or inefficiency of a hospital system. We operate across multiple floors of dedicated clinical space at 345 Main Street, Madison, NJ, with active buildout expanding into advanced recovery, regenerative medicine, and wellness suites.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC) is a cornerstone clinical and community-facing provider, working alongside our physicians, PTs, chiropractors, and interventional pain providers to deliver injury prevention, sideline care, evaluation, rehabilitation, and return-to-play decision-making. Beyond direct patient care, the ATC is a key driver of our community integration strategy — embedding with local school districts, police departments, athletic programs, and municipal organizations.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday core clinical hours with rotating weekend shifts as needed for community/event coverage.
Location: 345 Main Street, Madison, NJ 07940 — On-Site Reports To: Director of Sports Medicine / COO FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform injury evaluations, triage, and individualized rehab/reconditioning programs in coordination with referring providers
Apply therapeutic modalities (taping, bracing, manual techniques) within NJ ATC scope of practice
Provide on-site coverage for partner schools, municipal programs, and community athletic events
Serve as first-line clinical responder for acute injuries; maintain emergency action plans and coordinate with EMS
Build and maintain relationships with athletic directors, coaches, school nurses, and community stakeholders
Identify referral and partnership opportunities in coordination with Marketing and COO
Document all encounters in CureMD with timely, compliant clinical notes
Coordinate with Front Desk and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care
Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and NJ Board of Medical Examiners standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program
BOC Certification — current and in good standing
New Jersey Athletic Trainer Licensure — current or eligible with active application in process
Current BLS/CPR (AED proficient)
1–2+ years of clinical, collegiate, secondary school, or outpatient athletic training experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable representing the practice in community-facing settings
EMR documentation proficiency (CureMD a plus)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and respond to acute on-field injuries
Preferred: Multi-specialty outpatient experience Existing relationships with NJ school districts or athletic programs Familiarity with concussion protocols (ImPACT) Exposure to regenerative medicine or recovery modalities ).
