This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Power Platform Developer (UI/UX & Front-End Focus) in United States.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled Power Platform expert who is passionate about building visually engaging, user-centric business applications. You will focus primarily on designing and developing advanced Canvas Apps with strong attention to UI/UX, responsiveness, and modern front-end practices. The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive digital solutions. You will leverage Dataverse as the core data layer while integrating external systems such as SQL, SharePoint, and APIs. In addition, you will design and optimize Power Automate workflows to enhance application performance and usability. This is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership role where creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking are highly valued. - Lead the design and development of Canvas Apps with a strong emphasis on UI/UX, responsiveness, and custom control implementation, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
- Translate business requirements into functional, intuitive applications by collaborating closely with stakeholders and end users.
- Build and manage data models using Dataverse, including schema design, relationships, and security configuration.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems such as SQL databases, SharePoint, and APIs.
- Develop and optimize Power Automate workflows that support and extend application functionality.
- Own projects end-to-end, from discovery and design through development, deployment, and adoption.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve usability, performance, and system efficiency through proactive innovation.
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years specializing in Microsoft Power Platform development.
- Strong expertise in Canvas App development, including custom controls, responsive layouts, and UI-focused design.
- Solid understanding of Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, and security principles.
- Strong background in UI/UX design principles and modern front-end development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate for building and optimizing workflows.
- Exposure to Model-Driven Apps is a plus, but strong Canvas App expertise is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to independently own and drive projects from start to finish.
