Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of maintenance activities to support production machinery, equipment, and overall facility operations.
• Execute emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance during planned machine service periods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, electrical schematics, and repair documentation to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts, to support maintenance and repair activities.
• Carry out basic machinist functions as required to support equipment upkeep and modifications.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, replace or repair defective components, test systems, and make necessary adjustments to restore performance.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for machinery, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, electrical meters, and maintenance equipment to perform daily responsibilities.
• Identify faulty equipment operation, defective materials, and unusual conditions, escalating concerns to leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial systems.
• Working knowledge of production maintenance practices and equipment reliability programs.
• Ability to read technical documents, maintenance manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong mathematical aptitude.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to equipment upkeep, facility organization, and workplace cleanliness.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and industrial maintenance systems required.
• Familiarity with plastic extrusion equipment and processes is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
