Guest Service Agent (Luxury 5-star Hotel) Job Description
We are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality group to recruit professional and service-oriented Guest Service Agents to join a high-standard hotel operation.
This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering refined service, understand 5-star standards, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a brand ambassador by providing a warm, personalized welcome; managing the "curb-to-room" experience, including escorting guests and performing in-room orientations.
Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all guest data, billing instructions, and preferences are accurately captured in the PMS.
Review daily arrival reports to identify VIPs, birthdays, or anniversaries, coordinating with Housekeeping and F&B to ensure "wow" amenities are in place.
Provide expert recommendations on local dining, hidden gems, and transportation, handling bookings and reservations with a high level of local knowledge.
Act as the primary point of contact for guest feedback; take immediate ownership of complaints and follow through until the guest is fully satisfied.
Manage the "Guest Service Center" (phones/digital messaging), directing internal requests to Engineering or Housekeeping to ensure rapid response times.
Maintain a strong presence in the lobby during peak times, assisting with queue management and ensuring the atmosphere remains calm and luxurious.
Suggestively sell hotel outlets, spa services, and room upgrades to enhance the guest experience and support hotel financial goals.
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a high-touch guest-facing role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.
Fluent in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in a second or third international language is an advantage.
Exceptional ability to "read the room" and adapt communication styles to different cultures and guest personalities.
Proficiency in Property Management Systems and a high comfort level with mobile guest-service apps and digital communication tools.
Sophisticated grooming and posture that reflects the "Golden Standards" of world-class hospitality.
Ability to think on your feet and make empowered decisions to resolve guest issues without immediate supervision.
Ability to remain active and on your feet for long periods, as this role involves significant movement throughout the lobby and guest floors.
Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
