Job Description

We are partnering with a prestigious luxury hospitality group to recruit professional and service-oriented Public Area Attendants to join a high-standard hotel operation.

This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering refined service, understand 5-star standards, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and service all public areas, including the main lobby, reception, elevators, and corridors, ensuring they meet the hotels "first-impression" luxury standards.

  • Ensure all public and staff restrooms are impeccably clean, sanitized, and fully stocked with premium amenities, fresh linens, and essential supplies at all times.

  • Regularly inspect lounges, business centers, and fitness areas to ensure total cleanliness, furniture alignment, and elite presentation before peak guest traffic.

  • Identify and promptly report maintenance issues (burnt-out bulbs, carpet stains, or furniture damage), safety hazards, and any lost and found items.

  • Maintain a professional, hospitable presence in guest-facing areas, respecting guest space while providing directions or assistance with a 5-star attitude.

  • Follow strict hygiene, safety, and deep-cleaning sanitation procedures for high-touch surfaces (door handles, elevator buttons, railings) at all times.

  • Coordinate closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and the Front Office to ensure public spaces are refreshed immediately after events or high-traffic periods.

  • Execute specialized cleaning for luxury materials, including marble polishing, brass buffing, and vacuuming of high-traffic carpets to maintain a pristine aesthetic.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Public Area Attendant or in a high-visibility housekeeping role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional housekeeping procedures, including deep-cleaning techniques for luxury surfaces (marble, brass, crystal, and fine wood).

  • Proficient in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and the operation of industrial equipment such as floor buffers, steam cleaners, and high-performance vacuums.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a "critic's eye" for spotting smudges, dust, or misaligned furniture in high-traffic zones like the lobby and lounges.

  • Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, and lifting.

  • Positive attitude with a strong service mindset and respect for guest privacy.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

  • Professional appearance with a polished service attitude aligned with luxury standards.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills even under pressure.

  • Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
