Job Description
The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly and service-driven Part-Time Bathhouse Attendant to join our team in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This guest-facing role is essential in delivering a welcoming, organized, and seamless experience for guests purchasing day passes, checking in to soak, and preparing for time in our 45+ geothermal pools.

Your Future Career
Guest Check-In & Experience
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Process day passes, reservations, and upgrades accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Provide clear instructions regarding pool access, locker areas, and resort amenities.
- Answer guest questions regarding policies, pricing, and soak procedures.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
Retail & Sales Support
- Process retail purchases including swimwear, flip-flops, robes, and apparel.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays.
- Assist guests with sizing, product selection, and recommendations.
- Support inventory restocking and communicate low stock levels to leadership.
- Follow proper cash-handling and POS procedures.
Linen & Operational Support
- Distribute robes, towels, and other guest amenities accurately and efficiently.
- Collect used linens and coordinate with Laundry for replenishment.
- Monitor supply levels and maintain organized storage areas.
- Ensure the Bathhouse remains clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all cash-handling, security, and guest privacy procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines related to public areas and high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain awareness of guest safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Report operational or maintenance concerns promptly to leadership.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with Bathhouse Supervisors, Pool Operations, Spa, and Security teams.
- Support peak periods with efficient multitasking and guest flow management.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to support overall resort operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous hospitality, retail, spa, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and guest-first mindset required.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry items up to approximately 40 pounds (linens, retail inventory).
- Ability to work in a high-traffic, guest-facing environment.
- Exposure to humidity and varying indoor temperatures.
- Ability to maintain composure during busy service periods.
